Review: Green Mountain Pumpkin Spice

It seems like everything comes in pumpkin flavor these days. Oreo has released pumpkin spice Oreos. Stop & Shop has released a pumpkin pasta sauce. There is even a pumpkin spice oatmeal. Even though there is a plethora of new, and fun, pumpkin flavored products, the classic pumpkin spice coffee never goes out of style. Fall screams pumpkin to us and we want to share some of our favorite pumpkin flavored coffee’s with you throughout this month.PumpkinSpice

First up, the classic Green Mountain Pumpkin Spice coffee. This smooth flavor is a great accompaniment to a chilly fall morning. To get that pumpkin pie a la mode flavor, I add a dash of French Vanilla creamer too. If you haven’t tried that yet, do yourself a favor and give it a taste. You will not be disappointed.

Some pumpkin flavored coffees can be a bit too aromatic with a punch of artificial flavor that turns you off. Not this one! This is a smooth blend that hits all the right  notes of pumpkin. It hits the spot without being overwhelming. Now, this is definitely not a dark or bold coffee. But fear not, dark roast lovers. You’ll still enjoy the flavor this particular k-cup packs in. It will satisfy dark and light roast palates alike with a great medium blend. One taste and you’ll see why this is a #1 best seller, year after year.

This variety is best brewed on the default 6 oz cup size on your brewer. Because it isn’t a particular strong brand, which is a good thing with all of this flavor, brewing this on a higher setting may water it down. But if you feel it is too strong for you at the 6 oz size then brew to your hearts delight!

Looking for the taste of a Starbucks latte at home? Blast some whip cream on top, a dash of cinnamon, and you’ll never go back to store bought lattes again.
